Team BIT invented the technology of AC helmet

Helmets are a must for two wheelers due to their own safety and strict traffic rules. But this helmet becomes a source of trouble in the heat, cold and corona era. In the summer, the helmet raises the temperature inside, then the vapor emanating from the mouth and nose in the winter causes the vision to blur.

Even in the Corona era, when wearing a helmet with a mask, the glasses or the closed front mirror of the helmet look blurred due to the vapor. Soon you will get rid of this problem. The team of BIT (Birla Institute of Technology) Mesra, Ranchi have developed the technology of AC helmets. Have prepared such a helmet. The above problem will not arise if the temperature is controlled.

According to BIT Mesra SS Solanki, University Polytechnic, Professor-cum-Director of the Department of Electronic Communication, helmet temperatures can be up to 18 degrees in summer. Similarly, it can be controlled in winter. It is thermo electric based off the ordinary technology. Our team has developed technology. It was completed at the initial stage about a year ago. The students here are also using it as a sample.

The formal process remains at the government level. Talk is with the Transport Department. There is a slight delay due to corona. Funding from the government will facilitate further development of the project. Companies are to be talked about for commercial production. Right now, we are making minor changes in the helmets available in the market to make it useable.

The cost of the helmet will also be between seven hundred and thousand rupees like a normal helmet. Weight will not be too much. Yes, it will have to be charged for the system to work.
