Realme GT 5G, the flagship of 2021, is launching on March 4 globally. Realme had previously announced. The race will be the 2021 flagship with Snapdragon 888 chipset.
The invite shows that there will be a glass back on the Realme GT 5G, but some rumors suggest there could also be a leather version. The Realme GT 5G design will be inspired by the Nissan GT-R scale model, which the company confirmed a few days back. Other elements in the design include a rectangle-shaped camera island with at least three sensors inside. Some filings on China’s TENAA certification website have also revealed there will be “GT” branding on the phone’s back.
Realme has seemingly trademarked “GT” in India, meaning the flagship phone will eventually be launched here. However, there is no information on when the Realme GT 5G will debut in India. Although this is a global launch, the details of the India launch are awaited.
Realme GT 5G specifications
Realme GT 5G has been spotted with the model number RMX2022 on various certification websites. Realme had previously confirmed the Race flagship would be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 chipset, bringing the best performance in the Android phone world on the phone.
The rest of the specifications are rumored, though, such as the 125W fast charging on a 5000mAh battery, support for wireless charging, a Super AMOLED display with 3K resolution and 120Hz high refresh rate, and the 64MP triple camera system on the back. These are all premium category specifications that will pit the Realme GT 5G against Xiaomi Mi 11 and Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra.
