Realme may soon launch a new C-series smartphone in India. This phone may either be the recently launched C25.
In a tweet, Realme India and Europe CEO Madhav Sheth teased a new C-series phone coming to India. This tweet has an image that shows this phone will have a 6000mAh battery inside. Among the new C-series phones, only the C25 has a 6000mAh battery. This almost confirms C25 is headed to India. But Realme is yet to make an official announcement for this. And in case C25 is indeed confirmed, will Realme launch the other two C-series phones in India? That is something we may get to know soon as Realme will begin building the hype around this phone.
The Realme C25 seems like a refreshed C15. That is because the two phones have similar specifications.
Realme C25 specifications
The Realme C25 uses a 6.5-inch LCD with a 720p resolution. This display has a water drop style notch at the top inside, which you have the front camera. Realme is also claiming the show is protected by TUV Rheinland. An 8MP camera handles the selfies on this phone. Powering the Realme C25 is an octa-core MediaTek Helio G70 processor paired with 4GB of RAM. And while the RAM option is single, you can go for either 64GB or 128GB model as storage. There is support for a microSD card, as well.
Much like the C25, the C15 also came with a MediaTek processor initially, but later, Realme launched the phone’s Qualcomm Edition. This variant uses the Qualcomm Snapdragon 460 processor. Realme may launch a C25 Qualcomm Edition sometime later.
For optics, the Realme C25 has four cameras on the back. Among these cameras are a 48MP F1.8 shooter, a 2MP F2.4 snapper, and a 2MP F2.4 black-and-white shooter. You get all the standard camera options on the Realme C25. The phone has a fingerprint sensor on the side of the phone. Keeping the lights on is a 6000mAh battery with 18W fast charging support. And the Realme C25 comes running Android 11-based Realme UI 2.0 software out of the box.
