POCO had launched the handset globally in November 2020, and it took the company nearly three months to finalize the POCO M3 India launch plans.
Ahead of the launch, POCO has officially confirmed that the POCO M3 will land in India in a 6GB RAM variant only. We can expect it to be priced roughly Rs 12,000-13,000. The smartphone’s launch should be accompanied by some offers for certain credit/ debit cardholders. Therefore, it could be possible to buy the phone for less than Rs 10,000.
Poco is yet to confirm the storage on the Indian M3. However, it is being speculated that customers will choose 64GB and 128GB of space. While the company hasn’t detailed the specs of the Indian M3 yet, Flipkart has set up a promo page on its website, which confirms the smartphone will feature a 48MP triple camera and pack a 6,000 mAh battery like the global variant.
The Indian version of M3 is likely to retain the rest of the specs, including a Snapdragon 662 SoC, a 6.53″ FullHD+ display, an 8MP selfie camera, 18W charging, and a side-mounted fingerprint reader.
