Poco M3 was first launched by the company a few weeks ago, and since then, we have heard a lot of rumors about the device coming to India. However, it now appears the phone could be set for an India launch in a matter of days, with a new leak suggesting an imminent launch for the device and showing off the phone in its yellow color.
Information about this Snapdragon 662 SoC running smartphone has again been leaked by tipster Mukul Sharma who has tweeted a live image of the phone, which clearly shows its yellow avatar. This latest tweet about the Poco M3 comes on the tipster’s back, sharing the model number of the Indian variant of the device and hinting at a February launch for the phone in one of his other tweets.
While in his latest tweet, he does not mention the launch date of the device; he says that the launch of the Poco M3 in India is now imminent and confirms that the phone will indeed be launched in the country yellow avatar. This color variant, we believe, will be found alongside the other variants that the company had launched in global markets — Cool Blue and Power Black.
Talking about the phone, the Indian variant of the Poco M3 could come with similar specs and features as the global variant, which features a 6.53-inch display with support for Full HD+ resolution. The panel also houses a front-facing camera within a water drop-style notch. Underneath the hood, we have the Poco M3 powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 662 processor, which is backed by 4GB RAM and up to 128GB internal storage. The budget phone is expected to ship with Android 11 out of the box.
The phone gets a triple camera set-up that heroes a 48-megapixel primary lens with f/1.79 aperture, a 2-megapixel depth sensor with f/2.4 aperture, and a 2-megapixel macro camera lens with f/2.4 aperture. The device also gets an 8-megapixel selfie camera.
Keeping the Poco M3 lights is a 6,000mAh battery with support for 18W fast charging, which should be good enough for most users. There’s also support for reverse charging. Additionally, the phone also gets stereo speakers for music and other audio.
