Nokia 5.4 is the latest smartphone from HMD Global that comes as a successor to Nokia 5.3 within a six-month gap. It brings a large display, the Qualcomm Snapdragon 662 processor, and the best part is that it promises two years of Android upgrades.
However, HMD Global is making some fascinating claims that do not even pit this smartphone against any of the rival smartphones. The company claims that :
- The camera on the Nokia 5.4 is 160 times better than the first-ever.
- Another claim is that there is a zero-shutter lag on the camera, which somehow lets you capture every moment.
- The company is also saying that the Nokia 5.4 can handle 42 commutes, averaging 67 minutes of commute time, thanks to its battery.
The Nokia 5.4 comes at a starting price of EUR 189 (roughly Rs 17,000). There are three options that you can get for RAM and storage. It comes in Polar Night and Dusk colourways.
HMD Global has not announced the India price and availability of the Nokia 5.4.

- There is a 4000mAh battery under the hood, however, without fast charging support.
- The Nokia 5.4 comes with 48MP quad-cameras on the back while a 16MP front-facing camera is there on the phone for selfies.
- Nokia 5.4 supports OZO spatial audio on the cameras, along with support for 21:9 Cinema mode for video recording.
- The smartphone comes with support for Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, and USB-C port for connectivity.
- There is a Google Assistant button on the left side of the phone.
The specifications of the Nokia 5.4 are practically identical. It will be interesting to see if the Nokia 5.4 manages to lure consumers, and if the new smartphone from HMD Global stands out or not.
