The much-talked-about Motorola Nio has appeared on Geekbench. The company had confirmed launching a phone with Snapdragon 800 series and the Nio could be the one. Motorola was also among the 14 smartphone companies that would launch smartphones with Snapdragon 888, the company’s flagship processor.
As per RootMyGalaxy, the Motorola phone, which has been codenamed “Nio” has appeared on Geekbench. The listing has revealed that the smartphone will be powered by Snapdragon 865+ processor and paired with 8GB of RAM.
Earlier, Motorola had launched the Edge+ plus with Snapdragon 865 processor.
Motorola Nio expected specifications.
–The Geekbench listing reveals that Motorola Nio would be powered by a Snapdragon 865+ processor paired with upto 8GB of RAM.
–The listing also said that the Nio would be the first Motorola phone to come with Android 11 out of the box.
However, not everything that appears on Geekbench is right.
–The Motorola Nio has scored 958 on the single-core test and 2969 on the multi-core test. The higher the score, the better as it determines the capability of the processor.
–The listing had appeared on December 29, 2020. The rumours are strong that Nio could launch the smartphone in the first half of 2021.
Earlier, a report by TechnikNews and XDA developers had revealed similar details. The report stated that Motorola Nio bears the model number XT2125. The description further notes that the Nio would be driven by the powerful Snapdragon 865 SoC coupled with up to 12GB of RAM, but now the Geekbench listing has said it’s 8GB of RAM.
–The phone is speculated to feature a full-HD+ display with 1,080×2,520 pixels with a high refresh rate of 90hz.
Talking about its camera
–The Motorola Nio could come with a 64-megapixel primary sensor, a 16-megapixel sensor with an ultra-wide-angle lens and a 2-megapixel depth sensor.
–The phone is expected to come with dual-camera sensors, including a 16-megapixel sensor and an 8-megapixel sensor from Samsung.
