Technology company Google has ensured that Google Meet lives up to the expectations of people in current times of lockdown and pandemic.
In a tough competition to Zoom, Google Meet has launched new features which are 49 participants in one video call for free/non-enterprise users, customisable backgrounds, 100-people video calls for Google Nest users and many others.
A free Google Meet call will now allow up to 49 participants at one go in a video conversation. Earlier, the app allowed only 16 participants in one call.
Google Meet will also allow users to add custom images in the background while making a call through the app.
Users can also use ‘raise hand’ feature when they want to be a part of live presentation feed.
Google Meet also plans to collaborate with the Nest Hub Max so that users can join video calls through the speaker.
Other amazing features include Polling, Q&A and additional controls for managing participants.
