Were you using Threads feature on Instagram? Yes, the same feature that allowed you to connect and converse with only your close friends.
Now the photo-sharing app Instagram has updated its Threads feature by allowing you to chat with all your Instagram contacts on Threads.
Isn’t it marvelous? Yes, the update was found by reverse engineer Jane Manchun Wong, and social media consultant Matt Navara.
You can check out another tab on Instagram that is dedicated for messages with everyone on the contact list apart from your close friends.
So, the next time you log in to Instagram, all you will get to see is two tabs – one is meant for messages with close friends and other tab is for messages with all others.
It means now you will be able to access all your Instagram DMs along with having a separate chat with close friends.
The move comes days after Instagram made its merger official with Messenger app.
