Search engine giant Google has announced that it plans to stop providing free unlimited photo storage on Google Photos.
People like us who have thousands of photos on Google Photos won’t really appreciate the news and hence, we will have to find out another platform to save our photos.
Our current storage unlimited plan of Google Photos can be checked by this link, which will help us understand till when we have the free plan and from when we can start purchasing the plan to save our pictures.
Also, the company has announced that the upcoming Google Pixel phones will not have the benefit of unlimited storage on Google Photos.
It means whichever Pixel phones are in the market are the ones with the benefit of the unlimited Google Photos storage.
The company is putting a stop to the free unlimited Google Photos storage benefit with effect from June 1, 2021.
