People usually used to search on Google Maps how busy or crowded a place is before venturing into that area.
However, now Google Maps will soon introduce a feature that show ‘busyness’ status from the map view itself without having the need to search for it.
The interesting feature will be launched for users of Google Maps on Android, iOS and desktop soon.
The idea is to make it easy for users to avail information about a business’ health and safety information on Maps and Search.
The company thought of expanding the live busyness updates to millions of places after the pandemic hit the world nine months back.
Thus, now users of Google Maps can avail live busyness infomration of places like beaches and parks, grocery stores, gas stations, laundromats and pharmacies.
