Facebook ties up with Ray-Ban for first pair of smart glasses

Social media giant Facebook will soon be coming up with its first pair of smart glasses in 2021.

For this purpose, Facebook is partnering with the Luxottica who is the maker of Ray-Ban so that they can come up with the first pair of smart glasses.

In the Facebook Connect virtual conference, the announcement was made recently.

The deal is a part of multi-year partnership and it will publicized as Ray-ban-branded product.

The smart glasses may have a voice-assistant and will function by connecting with a smartphone.

Other features and the cost etc. are not yet revealed and will be announced as soon as the final product is made ready.
