Donut Robotics comes up with an interesting mask having bluetooth connectivity for smartphone

A startup company from Japan called Donut Robotics has come up with an internet-connected coronavirus mask.

Face masks are compulsory as we are going through the coronavirus pandemic.

This smart mask developed by the Japanese startup can transmit messages and translate from Japanese into eight other languages.

The white plastic “c-mask” can fit into any standard face mask and allows people to connect through Bluetooth to a smartphone and tablet application

The idea is to translate speech into text messages, make calls and even amplify the person wearing the mask’s voice.

The company wanted to survive in this crisis times and hence the engineers of the company came up with the idea of a mask product.

The first 5,000 c-masks of the company will be sent to Japanese buyers from September. Then it will be shipped to other countries like China, United States and Europe.

Priced at about $40 per mask, the company hopes to get a huge market for its new product and generate revenue from the subscriber services offered through an app that users will download.
