MacBook Pro, the Intel-powered laptop from Apple, is available in different regions, including India, despite the company bringing M1 chip-based laptops last year. Now, the older Intel model is available with an almost Rs 18,000 discount on Amazon India.
The 13-inch MacBook Pro with 256GB is listed on Amazon at Rs 99,990 – down from its earlier Rs 1,17,900. The laptop is currently getting a discount of Rs 17,910. Additionally, the Amazon India listing offers an exchange offer where consumers can get up to Rs 18,000 off. However, the Amazon listing clearly states that the exchange offer to apply the laptop needs to be in a working condition.
Notably, the massive discount is only available on the 256GB storage model as the 512GB variant is still selling at Rs 1,41,791 with a mere discount of Rs 1,199 from the original price. The Amazon listing doesn’t specify until when the discount offer on the Intel-powered MacBook Pro is applicable. This could be an offer from the seller as well in an attempt to get the stocks finished.
XDA Developers first reported the Amazon listing. The 13-inch MacBook Pro was launched early last year and came with minimal design changes. It is powered by an 8th-generation Intel i5 processor and comes with 8GB of RAM. It comes with a Magic keyboard with 1-millimeter travel for a comfortable typing experience. The MacBook Pro features a 13.3-inch IPS display with 2500×1600 pixels screen resolution. It offers a peak brightness of 500 nits and provides the company’s True Tone technology. It packs Thunderbolt 3 and supports transfer speeds of up to 40Gbps data transfer.
