Past Life Regression is an interesting concept that I researched on Google last night. It is said to be a method in which mental health professionals use hypnosis to recover the memories of past lives or incarnations. The reason that prompted me to study more about this concept was that I watched a South film titled Shyam Singha Roy. The movie starring Nani, Sai Pallavi, and Krithi Shetty kept me engaged not just because of the film’s story but because the title track Shyam Singha Roy kept playing in my ears throughout the time.

More than the film’s story the fact that Nani’s both the characters Vasu and Shyam worked as writers played in my favor because I too work as a writer. I wondered in my mind what really made me opt for a writing profession when my background was in commerce and business management. When I was ill for the last week, I was not feeling happy lying on the bed. Not because I was missing roaming around the home or going outside but because I was missing writing stories or the words that came to my mind to express myself.

Writing is a noble job just like a teaching one. Teachers are considered to be the Gurus since the old age because they teach their pupils how to speak, write and even behave properly right from the times when they are just too small to even understand themselves. But in the recent modern times when Google was introduced to us and being on the internet became a norm just like brushing our teeth, writing or sharing content has become a noble job because just with one of your written pieces, you reach out to thousands and lakhs of readers over a period of time.
When I really thought if I have a past life or not, I convinced myself to think yes and that’s the reason I find my passion in writing more than anything and everything else. Just give me a laptop and internet connection and I can simply be in heaven on the Earth itself, that’s how much I find happiness in writing. After seeing Shyam Singha Roy, I have come to the conclusion that probably each of the artistic and creative skills that we have, have come from our ancestors and even our past lives’ gifts that helps us learn and grow in every stage of life.
If you have Dance Little Masters or any other reality show, when children aged 4 to 8 are rocking the stage like a professional one, you will really believe that these kids are not only displaying the talent that they have possessed in their current lives but are also fulfilling the deepest desires of their past lives or probably their ancestors who couldn’t do what they wanted in their previous lives due to lack of opportunities and restricted lives in the pre-independent India.
