Former Australia bowler Tom Moody called the Hardik Pandya’s trade move from Gujarat Titans to 5-time champions Mumbai India as a masterstroke. After a successful stint with GT, where he captained the group to their maiden IPL identity in 2022 and led them to the finals in 2023, Pandya has again to team Mumbai Indians, the franchise in which he commenced his IPL profession in 2015.

Taking to social media platform ‘X’, Moody referred to Pandya’s move to MI as a masterstroke, including that GT, has come off for the move. This flow makes Hardik Pandya one of the few captains to be traded within the IPL, becoming a member of Ravichandran Ashwin and Ajinkya Rahane, who were traded in 2020. He moved to the Mumbai Indians team after the franchise deadline of 5 pm to declare the list of players.
