Pakistani bowler Muhammad Irfan rejects his fake death news

Pakistani fast bowler Mohammad Irfan had to confirm that rumors of the spread of his death news in a car accident on social media were “fake news” on Sunday.

The 38-year-old, known for being the tallest person to play top-class cricket at 2.16m, said false reports that he had a car accident were ‘groundless’.

“Some social media has unjustifiably spread fake news about the death of my car accident,” Irfan wrote on Twitter.

“It bothered my family and friends indescribably and I received countless phone calls. I refrain from such things. No accident has happened and we are doing well. ”

Irfan last played at Twenty20 International (T20I) against Australia for Pakistan in November last year, winning a total of 109 international wickets.

There may have been some confusion after the Pakistan Cricket Council (PCB) mourned the death of deaf cricketer Mohammad Irfan, who died of a stomach infection on Saturday.
