Ahmedabad : Under the brand’s community service pillar, Sewa, MG Motor India and its employees supported National Level Bronze Medallist Table Tennis player Pratha Pawar. MG employees collectively contributed player’s trip to Jordan for World Table Tennis Tournament. Hailing from Ahmedabad, Pratha Pawar is a part of the renowned Eklavya Sports Academy where Paralympic Silver Medallist Bhavina Patel also trained. At the age of 13, Pratha has won Bronze in the National Championship U-13 Category in May 22. She has also bagged Under 13, 15, and 17 Gujarat State Level Championship 3 times in 2021 along with the U-13 State Champion in 2020.

MG Motor has previously partnered with women sportspersons to assist them in achieving their goals. These include professional golfer Tvesa Malik, Khel Ratna and Arjuna Awardee Deepa Malik, India’s first silver medallist in the 2020 Tokyo Paralympics, Bhavina Patel, and the football revolutionist from Gujarat, Patan Girls. Since its inception, MG Motor India has endeavoured to make a difference in society. Via MG Sewa, the brand leads all-encompassing initiatives to empower everyone, especially women and children from various communities of our society.
