New Delhi: Star boxer and Rajya Sabha MP Mary Kom has met President Ram Nath Kovind breaking the 14-day quarantine protocol created by the World Health Organization (WHO) and governments around the world amid growing threat of corona virus.
According to the report, Mary Kom returned home on 13 March after participating in the Asia-Oceania Olympic qualifiers in Amman, Jordan, and was required to remain in the required 14-day self-isolation due to a rising outbreak of the Corona virus.
However, on March 18, he attended the breakfast given by President Ram Nath Kovind at Rashtrapati Bhavan. On the same day, BJP MP Dushyant Singh, who met Corona-infected singer Kanika Kapoor at a party, was also present at Rashtrapati Bhavan.
