Old Trafford: England made a strong comeback in the match on Friday on the third day of the first Test being played in Manchester against Pakistan with the help of their bowlers’ strong performance. After scoring 326 runs in the first innings, Pakistan consolidated their position by taking a 107-run lead, including England at 219 on the third day.

But in the second innings his batsmen could not walk at all and by the end of the day’s play, he was able to score 137 runs after losing 8 wickets, Pakistan’s team is now 244 runs ahead of England. Yasir Shah (12) and Mohammad Abbas (0) were unbeaten.

England bowlers performed brilliantly after falling behind by 107 runs in the first innings and Pakistan’s 8 wickets for 137 runs. Apart from Asad Shafiq’s 29, Mohammad Rizwan’s 27 and Abid Ali’s 20-run innings, no Pakistani batsman could survive. Shaan Masood, who scored a century in the first innings, could not even open the account.

For England, Stuart Broad, Chris Woakes and Ben Stokes took two wickets each, completely knocking down the Pakistani batting.
