MUMBAI: Delhi Capitals defeated Punjab Kings by six wickets in the IPL match on Sunday, scoring two points thanks to a tremendous innings of 92 runs by opener Shikhar Dhawan.

Deepak Hooda was unbeaten 22 off 13 balls with the help of two sixes, Nicholas Puran scored nine runs with the help of a four off eight balls, while Shah Rukh Khan scored a four and two sixes in an unbeaten 15 off just five balls. Shahrukh hit two fours and a six in the last over of the innings of Chris Woakes. For Delhi, Rabada, Meriwala, Vox and Avesh Khan took one wicket each.
