IPL auction: RCB buy Glenn Maxwell for Rs 14.25 crore

New Delhi: In the players’ auction for the Indian Premier League 2021, Australian all-rounder Glenn Maxwell has been added by RCB for Rs 14.25 crore.

The IPL was held in the United Arab Emirates last year due to the Covid-19 pandemic, but will now be hosted in India, focusing all attention on the big hitter and slow bowlers in which Maxwell fits perfectly.

Although Maxwell’s record in the tournament has not been so good, he averages 22 and has scored 1505 runs in 82 matches. The last time he played for Punjab. Three days before the mini-auction released in Chennai, Maxwell indicated his interest that he would like to play for RCB.
