IND vs. AUS- Captain Suryakumar Yadav Upholds Team tradition and Presents Trophy to Rinku Singh and Jitesh Sharma

What is India team tradition? The captain of the cricket team, Surya Kumar Yadav, continued their team tradition and passed the trophy to Jitesh Sharma and Rinku Singh after they won the IND VS AUS series 4-1 on Sunday. On three December, India clinches a thrilling victory in the T20 5th international against the Australia team in Bengaluru at M Chinnaswamy stadium. It set the dominant 4-1 lead series. The match was a biter, with India setting a defendable score of 160/8; all credit goes to the half-century made by the vice-captain, Shreyas Iyer.

In spite of pressure, the India bowlers rose to the event, with Mukesh Kumar taking three wickets, and Ravi Bishnoi showed the spin process. The match climax came to the final over, and the ball was handed to Arshdeep Singh with Australia, as they needed ten runs to win. Arshdeep Singh gave away the three runs only and took the key wickets of Matthew Wade, ensuring the six-run victory for the India team. The magical over by him became a turning point and allowed India to win in the low-scoring thriller match. 

Brilliant performance by the Indian team 

It was Super Sunday for India as Arshdeep, who had conceded 37 runs in three overs, bounced, returned brilliantly, and gave away three runs at the same time. Arshdeep was in the squad in place of Deepak Chahar, who left Bengaluru because of a medical emergency. However, the Indians fought lower back brilliantly thanks to some great bowling as they conceded simply 38 runs for three wickets in 5 final overs to restriction Australia to 154/8 in 20 overs.

Team tradition started with MS Dhoni in 2007

The Australia team started the chase on a strong note with openers Josh Philippe and Travis Head. Still, the bowling attack made by the India team, including Mukesh Kumar, Ravi Bishnoi, and Arshdeep Singh, kept pressure on through the innings. After this, Surya Kumar Yadav decides to step aside gracefully and presents the trophy to Rinku and Jitesh. 

This tradition of passing trophies was started in 2007 by MS Dhoni after the India team won the T20 World Cup; Hardik Pandya and Virat Kohli continued this tradition. Abhishek Nayar was delighted to see the tradition because he commented on it. It is good to see tradition continue for a long time. Suryakumar handed over the trophy to Jitesh Sharma and Rinku Singh. They are called support staff, Nayar said.

In the 5th T20 series, the India team got win against Australia. Australia managed most of the game; however, it was Arshdeep Singh who became the final-over hero for the hosts, correctly defending ten runs off the ultimate over. Suryakumar Yadav continued the team tradition like his predecessors MS Dhoni, Virat Kohli, and Rohit Sharma by delivering the trophy to Rinku Singh and Jitesh Sharma.
