Along with this, he has broken a record of Indian veterans Virat Kohli and Hashim Amla. Actually, the world record for fastest 13 centuries in ODI cricket was recorded in the name of South African batsman Hashim Amla. Virat Kohli, the captain of the Indian cricket team, was second in this case. But after scoring a century against South Africa, Babar Azam has now reached the forefront.
Babar Azam has scored 13 ODI centuries in just 76 innings. While Hashim Amla had 83 to score the same century, Kohli took 86 innings. Thanks to Babar Azam’s century, Pakistan won by three wickets against Africa to take a 1-0 lead in the series. Pakistan got this victory on the last ball of the innings.
