New Delhi: In view of the worldwide threat of corona virus infection, on Monday, it was decided to postpone the 29th season of the Azlan Shah Cup hockey tournament in September instead of April.
According to the statement issued by the organizers, the Azlan Shah Cup was to be held in Ipoh, Malaysia from April 11 to 18 but now the tournament will be held from September 24 to October 3. Many sports competitions have been canceled, postponed, or shifted in the past due to the deadly corona virus.
The virus has killed more than 3000 people worldwide and infected more than 86000 people.
