When Rahul Gandhi pays obeisance at the Golden Temple in Amritsar on Thursday morning, he will be accompanied by all 117 party candidates in the Punjab assembly elections.

Rahul would arrive at the holy city by plane from New Delhi at 9 a.m., according to the itinerary given by Punjab Pradesh Congress Committee (PPCC) president Navjot Singh Sidhu on his social media accounts. He’ll start by visiting the Golden Temple, where he’ll spend about 45 minutes. He will not only pay reverence at the sanctum sanctorum, but he will also eat from the langar (common kitchen). He would next travel to Ram Tirath and visit Bhagwan Valmiki Tirath Sthal at Durgiana Temple.
He will go to Jalandhar by road at 12:15 p.m. and speak at the Punjab Fateh virtual rally at White Diamond in Mithapur village, Jalandhar district, at 3.3 p.m. He will fly to Delhi from the adjacent Adampur airport at 5.25 p.m.
