Punjab BJP is supposed to file a complaint against Mohammad Mustaffa

Punjab BJP leader Navjot Singh Sidhu’s aide Mohammad Mustafa made an allegedly provocative speech earlier this week, prompting the Punjab BJP to submit a complaint with the Election Commission.

“I am appalled that a former cop would make such a statement. This is both anti-Muslim and anti-Hindu, as well as provocative. Is it possible that this remark was made with the intention of igniting riots? The situation is “inacceptable,” according to Shazia Ilmi, the BJP’s national spokesperson. She proposed that Mohammad Mustafa be charged with attempting to undermine community harmony by filing a police report.

Mohammad Mustafa is a retired IPS officer and Navjot Singh Sidhu’s Punjab Congress chief’s advisor.

Mohammad Mustafa was asked about a public gathering of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) that was taking place nearby during a public meeting in Malerkotla on Thursday night. He reacted with the words, “I am not, like them [AAP], an RSS agent. I will not allow them to hold even one public meeting if I have my way. I am a community soldier who will continue to battle for the good of the community.”

He also warned the state government and opposition leaders that if he “loses his cool,” “no one will be able to control him.”

In the reaction of the Mustaffa’s speech, BJP leader Shazia Ilmi said the party would approach the Election Commission to cancel his wife Razia Sultana ticket in response to Mohammad Mustafa’s reported allegations. She stated that the speech of Mustafa is unconstitutional.

“Mohammad Mustafa has the same mindset as Sidhu,” Punjab BJP leader Subhash Sharma observed. He hugs Pakistan’s rulers, who daily transfer drugs and weapons to India.”
