“He left my mother to die”, Navjot Singh Sidhu’s sister claimed

New controversy appears to be hitting the Congress, notably Navjot Singh Sidhu, only days before the Punjab Assembly elections. Suman Toor, an NRI who claims to be the sister of Punjab Congress President Navjot Singh Sidhu, called her brother a “cruel guy” who abandoned their elderly mother after their father died.

“After our father died in 1986, Sidhu abandoned our ageing mother, and she later died as a poor woman at the Delhi railway station in 1989,” Toor, who is based in the United States, alleged. She claims that Navjot Singh Sidhu halted “everything for the sake of money.”

She also claimed that Sidhu had lied about his parents being divorced when he was two years old in a news article. Meanwhile, Navjot Singh Sidhu’s answer to the claims is still pending.

In addition, Gandhi stated that existing Punjab President Minister Charanjit Singh Channi and the party’s state chief Navjot Singh Sidhu have promised to work together regardless of who leads the government if the Congress is elected.
