The situation of Covid-19 in Uttar Pradesh is getting worse: Akhilesh Yadav

Lucknow: Samajwadi Party President Akhilesh Yadav said on Sunday that the situation in Uttar Pradesh is only going to worsen and there are reports of corona infection now happening in new districts. The program to bring back the workers of the state trapped in various states has slowed down. In a crowd of thousands, women, children, elderly all have left by foot or bicycle. Even their food and drink arrangements are not being made.

He said in a statement, “The steps the BJP government is going to take in the name of giving employment to the unemployed in the state and attracting investment will only invite unrest and disorder. Who will come to invest in deteriorating law and order situation? The Uttar Pradesh government has now made preparations to throw dust in the eyes of the public and cover its failures. ”

Akhilesh said that the anti-labor BJP government, while postponing the labor laws for three years, argued that it would attract investment while it would increase labor exploitation and at the same time labor dissatisfaction would lead to unrest in the industrial environment.

The truth is that ‘industrial peace’ is the most attractive condition for investment. The SP chief said that the labor policy of the BJP government will give the owners an open leeway to arbitrate and exploit the workers. He said that no labor officer would go to the industries for three years to get the laws of the new labor policy followed. The former chief minister said that laborers in the owner’s factory will now have to work for 12 hours while they will get wages for eight hours.
