Patna: Senior Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leader Raghuvansh Prasad Singh has resigned from the party. In a letter written on Thursday, Raghuvansh Singh wrote to party supremo Lalu Yadav that I have been standing behind you for 32 years, but not now.
Presently, Raghuvansh Prasad Singh is being treated at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in Delhi. They are admitted. He further wrote in his letter, party leaders, workers and general public have given me great respect, forgive me.
Significantly, Lalu Prasad Yadav is in jail on charges of fodder scam. At the same time, Vice President Raghuvansh Prasad Singh was handling the entire responsibility of the party. Bihar assembly elections are likely to be held at the end of the year. In such a situation, it is a big shock for RJD. Only after 74-year-old Raghuvansh Singh is discharged from AIIMS will it be clear that he moves towards a party.
