New Delhi: Former Congress president Rahul Gandhi and party general secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra will once again try to visit Hathras to meet the victim’s family.
Congress leader KC Venugopal told today that Congress MP will leave for Hathras this afternoon under the leadership of Rahul Gandhi. He told that Rahul will meet the relatives of the deceased girl in Hathras. He said, “The Congress delegation will meet the family and listen to their concerns and demand justice for the victim and family.”
Earlier, Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi were detained by the police on Thursday by stopping them from visiting Hathras to meet the victim’s family. On the other hand, the Congress claimed that Rahul and Priyanka were arrested by the Uttar Pradesh police.
At the same time, Priyanka Gandhi attacked the Yogi government and said, ‘UP government is morally corrupt. The victim did not receive treatment, did not write a complaint on time, burned the body forcibly, the family is in captivity, they are being pressurized – now they are being threatened that there will be a narco test. This behavior is not acceptable to the country. Stop bullying the victim’s family. ‘
