Regarding law minister and the Rashtriya Janata Dal law-maker Kartikeya Singh’s criminal background, he said that the law would take its own course. The BJP is uncomfortable about the Chief Minister Nitish Kumar’s announcement for creation of jobs in his Independence Day speech, so it is making such allegations, Yadav said, adding the government would continue to work for the people’s welfare without bothering about the BJP and its media. According to Yadav, Kartikeya Singh has not been proven guilty of any crime. He also refuted the BJP’s claim that Singh had to appear before a court the same day when he was sworn in as a minister in connection with a kidnapping. Besides, after issuing the warrant, the court granted interim protection against his arrest and the government will follow the court’s directions, he said.
