Lucknow: Responding to Prime Minister Modi’s allegation that the Opposition is trying to mislead the farmers, Samajwadi Party president Akhilesh Yadav said that the grain-provider understands the plot to grab land under the guise of agricultural laws very well and the farmer will uproot the BJP government.
In a tweet on Tuesday, Mr Yadav said, “Those who practice agriculture and farming understand the conspiracy to grab land under the guise of agricultural laws by giving the ‘jumla’ of doubling the income.
He further said, “We will struggle with our farmer brothers so that the structure protecting the MSP, market and agriculture remains. BJP is over now.”
Prime Minister Modi had on Monday accused the Opposition of misleading the farmers on the new agricultural laws in his parliamentary constituency Varanasi and had said that those who continuously cheated the farmers for decades, are creating a conspiracy based on apprehensions. However, their truth is coming out before the country, he had said.
