New Delhi: The Congress on Sunday said that considering the importance of every life, the government must make an arrangement for giving free COVID vaccination to all.
Addressing a press conference here Congress leader Gourav Vallabh said that whichever COVID vaccine is
the best based on scientific testing for preventing COVID, must be given free of cost to every citizen of the country.
In reply to a question on SP leader Akhilesh Yadav’s statement regarding not getting the vaccination done, Vallabh said the Samajwadi Party must be asked for a reply in this matter, adding that what Congress wants is that everyone must get the best vaccine for prevention from the pandemic which must be given free of cost by the government.
He said that Congress governments have conducted several vaccination campaigns and defeated many diseases, and, added saying that the grand old party has a lot of experience regarding the same and government can anytime for the safety of people can consult the party in this regard.
Vallabh said that 11 per cent of Israel’s population has already been vaccinated, while in our country the process has not even properly started yet.
