New Delhi: On the issue of violent conflict between India and Chinese soldiers in East Ladakh, the period of political attacks in the country is not taking its name. Between the two major parties of the country, BJP and Congress, the issue of accusation on this issue is going on. In response to this, former National Minister P. Chidambaram took charge on behalf of the Congress, BJP National President JP Nadda targeted the latest statement of former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh on this issue. In a tweet, Chidambaram has responded to the BJP president.
He wrote in his tweet – BJP President JP Nadda has sought clarification from former PM Doctor Manmohan Singh on 600 Chinese incursions into India between 2010 and 2013. Yes, there was infiltration but no Indian territory was occupied by China and Indian soldiers were not killed in violent clashes.
Significantly, 20 military personnel, including a colonel of the Indian Army, were killed in a violent clash with Chinese soldiers on Monday night in the Galvan Valley of eastern Ladakh.
