After voting in Saifai’s block, Samajwadi Party’s National General Secretary-General Professor Ram Gopal Yadav said that if there is fair voting, then the Samajwadi Party will win from all the seats. On the other hand, Samajwadi Party MLA from Jaswantnagar in Etawah, senior leader Shivpal Singh Yadav said that the voting process is going on very well. PSP chief Shivpal Singh Yadav, who reached the polling booth in the Saifai block office, cast his vote along with his son Aditya Yadav.

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath after casting his vote said that like the Vidhan Sabha, the BJP will have a thumping majority in the Legislative Council also. Talking to reporters at the media center outside the Municipal Corporation, the Chief Minister said that anti-land mafia action is for professional criminals and not for the general public. If a poor has put up a hut in a public place and that land belongs to the reserved category, then it will not be removed unless it is rehabilitated somewhere.
