Lucknow. Despite the Covid-19 pandemic, the Uttar Pradesh government financial management is bringing accolades to it. UP Finance Minister Suresh Khanna, said that when the Yogi government came, the Gross State Domestic Product (GSDP) of UP was 12.47 crores, which has now reached to more than 17 crores; showing a 40 percent growth in the GSDP of UP.

Suresh Khanna said that the credit deposit ratio in UP has also increased by 6% since 2017. Under Digital India, digital transactions are also growing rapidly in UP. At the same time, UP has the first place in the country in PM Jan Dhan Yojana accounts. The state government is constantly working to provide benefits to the masses and taking the welfare schemes to the beneficiaries.

UP also leads in PM Suraksha Bima Yojana

UP Finance and Parliamentary Affairs Minister Suresh Khanna said that the state ranks second in the country under PM Jeevan Jyoti Yojana. At the same time, Uttar Pradesh ranks first in the country in PM Suraksha Bima Yojana. Apart from this, there is a record increase in PM Mudra Yojana in UP.

With this, Suresh Khanna presented the details of finance department at BJP’s Lucknow headquarters. He said that all preparations are being made to expand the branches of banks, so that the common man sitting in unbanked rural areas does not face any kind of problem with banking transactions. The FM of UP told that in the next 100 days, a loan of Rs 21 thousand crores will be given to the eligible people in various heads by his department. For this, a program of 15-15 days has been asked to be made. While 51 thousand crore rupees in the next six months, then two lakh crore rupees will be disbursed in the next five years.

He said we have already prepared a plan for next 100 for UP. Our aim is to make UP the leading and no 1 state of India in terms of development and other indexes.
