The Karnataka Mutt pontiff asked that people ignore misleading propaganda regarding the event. Two of the four Shankaracharyas—presidents of a Hindu sect that adheres to Adi Shankra’s teachings—have openly welcomed the inauguration ceremony at the Ram Temple in Ayodhya, according to the current president of the Vishva Hindu Parishad, Mr.Alok Kumar. But none of them would come to the ceremony; instead, they would go to the temple whenever it was convenient for them. This comes after reports of prominent religious figures choosing not to attend the consecration ritual sparked a political brawl between opposition parties and the Bharatiya Janata Party.
The consecration ceremony has been welcomed by Shankaracharya of Dwarka Sharda Peeth and Sri Sringeri Sharada Peeth. As per the news agency, the VHP working chief was quoted as saying that both of them expressed their happiness and had no complaints about it. The eight-century seer Adi Shankara founded the four major mutts in Gujarat, Uttarakhand, Odisha, and Karnataka, which are led by the four Shankaracharya. The four spiritual leaders reportedly declined an invitation to attend the ceremony because of the temple’s “incomplete” construction, a move that prompted the Congress to criticize the BJP. Question the BJP about the Shankaracharya’s’ absence from the Pran Pratishtha ritual.

In a social media post featuring a picture of His Grace Parampujya Jagadguru Shankaracharya Sri Sri Bharati Tirtha Mahaswamiji, Dakshinamnaya Sringeri Sharada Peethadheeshwar states that the Sringeri Shankaracharya expresses the rejection of the Pran Pratishtha in a message. The mutt said that the Sringeri Shankracharya hasn’t delivered any such message, though.
The working chief of the VHP said that Shankaracharya of the Govardhan Peeth in Odisha had conveyed his happiness about the Ram Temple’s construction. He went on to say that only Jyotripeeth Shankaracharya had made some statements. Nischalananda Swaraswati, the head of Odisha’s mutt, had earlier declared he would not attend the ceremony. Four eminent Shankaracharyas have announced that they will not be attending the event, including Shankaracharya Avimukteshwaranand Saraswati, the head of the Jyotir Mutt in Uttarakhand, on Wednesday. He claimed that the ceremony goes against the holy books in a video message;
