News Desk – A shocking road rage incident unfolded in Navi Mumbai on Saturday evening when the helper of a cement mixer truck was kidnapped by an SUV driver after a minor collision on the Mulund–Airoli road.

The Incident

The cement mixer, owned by Vilas Dhengre, brushed against an SUV at a traffic signal.

Following an argument, the SUV driver asked the truck’s cleaner, Prahlad Kumar (22), to accompany him to the police station.

Soon after, Kumar went missing, and repeated calls to him went unanswered.

The Investigation

Police traced the SUV to Puja Automobiles, which is registered at the Pune bungalow of suspended IAS officer Puja Khedkar.

On Sunday, Rabale police located and rescued Kumar from the same bungalow.

However, when police later revisited the house, they found it locked.

Police Action

Rabale Police have registered an FIR and are searching for the SUV driver, who is currently on the run.

Officers have summoned Khedkar’s mother and others from the house for questioning.

Senior Inspector Balkrushna Sawant confirmed that people at the bungalow “did not cooperate” with the investigation.

Puja Khedkar, a suspended IAS officer, has previously been in controversy. While police have not directly linked her to the kidnapping, the SUV involved in the crime was registered at her address.

The case is being investigated further, with police focusing on the SUV driver and the connections to Khedkar’s residence.
