Women from the CRPF, BSF, and SSB will demonstrate the nation’s Nari Shakti, or “women power,” by performing daring stunts during the motorcycle display.
India is commemorating the adoption of the Constitution on this day in 1950 as the 75th Republic Day. Kartavya Path is the site of New Delhi’s yearly Republic Day parade. The parade is focused on women this year, with the major themes being “Viksit Bharat” and “Bharat-Loktantra ki Matruka.” The parade will feature an all-women tri-service contingent for the first time, comprising women from the other two services and women troops of the India Army’s military police.
President Emmanuel Macron of France will be the special guest at the Republic Day procession in 2024. During the event, a contingent of French people, including those of Indian and Nepali descent, will march. There will also be two French Rafale jets and a French refueling aircraft involved.

Motorbike Exhibition

Through a variety of formations, such as Chandrayaan, Sarvatra Suraksha, Abhivadan, and Yog Se Siddhi, over 260 women will display their bravery, valor, and determination.
The fly-past of the Indian Air Force
There will be 46 aircraft participating in the fly-past by the Indian Air Force. There will be 29 fighter jets, 7 transport aircraft, 8 helicopters, and 1 heritage aircraft in the IAF fleet. The Tejas fighter jet, which is indigenously built, will fly in a formation of four aircraft for the first time. During the fly-past, fifteen female pilots—six of whom are from the fighter streams—will pilot a variety of IAF platforms.
Musical performance by the band
Avaahan is a band performance featuring more than a hundred female musicians playing a variety of percussion instruments. Republic Day Parade 2024 will feature 16 tableaux from states and Union territories and 9 from central ministries and departments.
There are many states and Union territories whose tableaux will be on display. Women riding boats will also be featured in the Manipur tableau. A replica of Ima Keithel, an extraordinary all-women market with a centuries-long history run entirely by women, is situated behind the Manipur tableau.
The presentation from Chhattisgarh will underscore the prominent role played by women in the tribal communities of Bastar, while the Odisha tableau will showcase the active involvement of women in the handcraft and handloom sectors. By 10:30 a.m., the Republic Day parade is scheduled to start. Prime Minister Narender Modi is scheduled to visit the National War Memorial to lead the nation in laying a wreath as a heartfelt way of remembering the fallen heroes.
