Schedule for PM Modi’s visit to Kerala, Tamil Nadu, and Maharashtra for two days starting on Tuesday. On Tuesday Prime Minister Narendra Modi will travel to Kerala, Tamil Nadu, and Maharashtra for a two-day visit during which he will inaugurate and lay the groundwork for a number of development projects. His visit will start on Wednesday in Kerala and end in Maharashtra.
PM Narendra Modi is scheduled to visit the Vikram Sarabhai Space Center (VSSC) in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala at approximately 10:45 a.m.
An official statement states that Modi will inaugurate three major space infrastructure projects during his visit to the state: the Trisonic Wind Tunnel at VSSC, Thiruvananthapuram; the new Semi-cryogenics Integrated Engine and Stage Test facility at ISRO Propulsion Complex at Mahendragiri and the PSLV Integration Facility (PIF) at the Satish Dhawan Space Center, Sriharikota. The three projects have been developed at the total cost of approximately Rs 1800 crore, offering top-notch technical facilities for the space sector. In addition, Modi will confer astronaut wings on the astronaut-designates and assess the Ganganyaan Mission’s advancement.
Tuesday afternoon, Modi will travel to Tamil Nadu and attend the Creating the Future- Digital Mobility for Automotive MSME Entrepreneurs program in Madurai, which is scheduled to begin at 5:15 p.m. Throughout the program, he will introduce the TVS Open Mobility Platform and the TVS Mobility-CII Center of Excellence, two significant projects intended to assist and elevate MSMEs in the Indian automotive sector. In Thoothukudi, Tamil Nadu on Wednesday, February 28 at approximately 9:45 a.m. Modi will lay the foundation for several infrastructure projects valued at over Rs 17,300 crore. According to a government release, he will lay the foundation for Outer Holder Terminal at Chidambaranar Port.
Next as part of the Harit Nuka initiative, Modi will introduce the country’s first indigenous green hydrogen fuel cell inland waterway vessel. In addition, he will dedicate visitor centers at 75 lighthouses located in ten states and union territories.
Modi will dedicate the rail projects during his visit, including the doubling of the Rs 1477 crore Vanchi Maniyachchi – Nagercoil rail line. In addition he will dedicate four road projects in Tamil Nadu which came with a whopping Rs 4586 Crore price tag. On Wednesday afternoon, Modi will travel to Maharashtra after his first visit to Tamil Nadu. The official statement from the government states that Modi will launch several development projects valued at over Rs 4900 crore and take part in a public programme in Yavatmal, Maharashtra at 4:30 p.m. Throughout the program, he will also distribute the benefits under the PM KISAN and other programs. The second and third installment of the Rs 3800 crore Namo Shetkari MahaSanman Nidhi will be paid out by Modi to approximately 88 lakh farmers who are eligible throughout Maharashtra.
