The Prime Minister will inaugurate a monument dedicated to the country and lay the foundation stone for development projects valued at over 1150 crores during his visit to Lakshadweep.
The Kochi-Lakshadweep Islands Submarine Optical Fiber Connection (KLI-SOFC) projects will be officially launched by PM Modi. Additionally, he will dedicate the Low-Temperature Thermal Desalination (LTTD) plant in Kadmat to the country, which has the capacity to produce 1.5 lakh liters of pure drinking water per day. In addition, PM Modi will dedicate the first-ever battery-backed solar power facility in Lakshadweep, a solar power plant in Kavaratti.
