On Thursday, PM Modi released the postage stamps on Ayodhya’s Ram temple and book stamps dedicated to Lord Ram all over the world. If we talk about the launch of postage stamps, PM Modi said Today I got the opportunity to attend Pran pratishtha event organized for Ram temple inauguration, he said. Today, 6 postage stamps on Ram mandir in Ayodhya and an album of stamps issued by Lord Ram in the world have been released.  

Postage stamps book 

The stamp book aims to show off the appeal of Lord Ram to numerous societies. This 48-page book covers stamps issued through more than 20 countries, which includes the USA, New Zealand, Singapore, Canada, Cambodia, and countries like the United Nations.

The layout of the stamps encompasses essential factors associated with Shri Ram Janmbhoomi Mandir, showcasing the temple itself, the respected Choupai ‘Mangal Bhavan Amangal Hari,’ the solar, the Saryu River, and the sculptures in and around the temple. The stamp series contains 6 awesome stamps, every presenting key figures and albums related to Lord Ram’s narrative.

What postage stamps encompass 

The stamps encompass depictions of the Ram Temple, Lord Ganesh, Lord Hanuman, Jatayu, Kevatraj, and Ma Shabri. The use of gold leaf detailing for the sun rays and the Choupai provides a regal contact to the miniature sheet. The stamp book has been released to exhibit the global popularity of Lord Ram across one-of-a-kind societies.
