The Principal Secretary of the Home Department, Sanjay Prasad, issued an order on December 20 regarding the deployment of UPSSF at these airports, according to a senior home department official. Directives give instructions to the U.P. before force is deployed. Director General of Police (DGP) to ascertain the roles and responsibilities of the local police and the UPSSF in terms of security.
