In New Delhi, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar met Prime Minister Narendra Modi for the first time since he decided to break away from the Mahagathbandhan alliance and establish a BDA government led by the BJP in Bihar last month. Nitish Kumar also restated his vow to never abandon the NDA alliance and brought about the formation of a new government in Bihar. Our primary goal is to serve the public, who is the master. He continued, Development work will gain momentum, and the people of the state will improve with the NDA coalition government at the center and the state.“

Following the meeting, the chief minister gave a brief statement to top reporters in which he recalled his membership in the BJP beginning in 1995 and ending it in 2013.

Although he may have left it twice, the JD (U) chief said he would never do it again. He continued,” We will stay here (in the NDA). In addition to meeting with the Prime Minister, Nitish Kumar also had discussions with JP Nadda, the national president of the BJP, and Union Minister Amit Shah. The BJP national president reported that he had a meaningful conversation with Nitish Kumar about a range of topics, including the advancement and development of the state to unprecedented heights.

The meeting on Wednesday was held in anticipation of the critical floor test that the newly formed NDA government under Nitish Kumar has to pass on February 12 in order to demonstrate its support in the Bihar Assembly.

The Narendra Modi government’s interim budget, which was the final one to be represented in the Lok Sabha of the year, was praised warmly by Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar in the day’s prior. After fighting the BJP-led NDA for more than a year, the JD (U) president finally joined it less than a week ago. He praised Union Minister Nirmala Sitharaman’s budget, calling it a positive document that should be applauded. Mr. Kumar, who served as the late Atal Bihari Vajpayee’s minister of railways, applauded the establishment of the three new economic corridors, arguing that they would improve logistical efficiency and hasten the nation’s overall economic growth.
