NewsMS Dhoni invited to Ayodhya Ram Temple 'Pran Pratistha' event

Date:

Ex-Indian captain and World Cup champion MS Dhoni was invited to the much-anticipated “Pran Pratishtha ceremony” of the Ram Temple in Ayodhya. The invitation was sent to the Chennai Super Kings captain at his Ranchi residence on Monday, January 15.

Dhananjay Singh, who is also the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS)’s co-province secretary, invited MS Dhoni. The former cricketer will join Karmaveer Singh, the BJP’s State Organization General Secretary, for the consecration of the Ram temple in Ayodhya on January 22.

An invitation to attend the consecration ceremony of the Ram temple has been extended to MS Dhoni, joining the ranks of Sachin Tendulkar, Virat Kohli, and others. The invitation to Sachin Tendulkar’s Mumbai mansion did not arrive until January 13. The Shri Ram Janmbhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust is responsible for inviting around six thousand people from all across the country. Many well-known individuals are expected to attend the Ram temple dedication on January 22. Also in attendance will be India’s prime minister, Narendra Modi.

The city in Uttar Pradesh, North India, is getting ready for the historic consecration, but Prime Minister Narendra Modi has ordered that the “Ram Devotees” not come. In its place, Modi has said that the temple would be open to the public after the formal program’s conclusion on January 22.

My heartfelt plea is with all of you. Seeing the momentous event in person in Ayodhya on January 22nd is everyone’s dream. But you know that it’s not possible for everyone. All Ram devotees, I pray you would not make a hasty judgment on whether or not to visit Ayodhya on January 22nd, but rather come at your leisure after the ceremonial event ends. It was Prime Minister Modi who first made this claim.

Despite celebrating the new year in Dubai with family and friends, MS Dhoni returned to Ranchi. Earlier this month, Dhoni began preparing at the Jharkhand State Cricket Association Stadium in Ranchi in anticipation of the 2024 Indian Premier League season.

After a long string of injuries plagued Dhoni’s knee, he had surgery soon after winning the 2023 IPL title with Chennai Super Kings. After announcing his ambition to play in the 2024 Indian Premier League, Dhoni has been working hard to get back in form. This wicketkeeper-batsman led CSK to two IPL titles after retiring from international cricket.

The consecration ceremony will be attended by sixteen esteemed Jharkhandis, including MS Dhoni. Among those invited are Padma Shri Mukund Nayak, Sudesh Mahto, a well-known BJP leader, and Padma Shri Deepika Kumari, an archer.

Among the notable guests for the upcoming event in Ayodhya are cricket greats Virat Kohli and Sachin Tendulkar.

Shri Ram Janmbhoomi Teertha Kshetra Champat Rai’s general secretary has announced that the idol of Lord Ram will be placed at the temple’s ‘Garbh Griha’ on January 18, and the celebration of ‘Pran Pratishtha’ is scheduled to take place at 12.20pm on the 22nd of January. The muhurat, or auspicious hour, was decided by Ganeshwar Shastri Dravid of Varanasi.
