Who was Avatar Saini? Avatar Saini, former head , is well known for contributions to Intel premium processor, and passed away in accident. The 68-year-old was cycling with fellow cyclists on Palm Beach Road in Nerul, Navi Mumbai when he was hit via a speeding cab around 5.50 am.

Who Was Avtar Saini?

Avtar Saini, a 68-year-old resident of suburban Chembur, was well known for his contributions to the technology industry. He played a pivotal role in the development of Intel’s 386 and 486 microprocessors, in addition to leading the design of the company’s Pentium processor.

The 68-year-old Saini was struck between Nerul junction and the NRI-Seawoods sign at 5:50 am on February 28. Despite being rushed to the sanatorium, he was declared dead because of the intense injuries sustained in the accident, according to reports

When the accident occurs 

The fatal collision took place at about 5:50 am on Wednesday alongside Palm Beach Road in Navi Mumbai’s Nerul area. Saini, who was cycling at the time, was hit in the back of the dashing cab. Following the effect, Khade tried to flee the scene with the bicycle’s body lodged under the cab’s front wheels. Saini’s partners rushed him to a nearby medical institution, where he was mentioned as useless upon arrival.

What the fellow cyclists talk about this accident 

According to fellow cyclists, Saini’s bicycle was struck from at the back of a cab. Despite wearing a helmet, he sustained severe accidents. The effect caused the bicycle body to be wedged below the front of the cab, dragging him for a distance. Saini was taken straight away to a nearby medical hospital but was declared dead by doctors.

The name of cab driver, called Hrishikesh Khade, tried to run away from the spot but catch by fellow cyclists and police.

The rushing taxi hit Avtar Saini’s bicycle from behind, and the driving force then tried to break out from the spot, with the bicycle’s body wedged under the front wheels of the cab. After hitting the Saini, the Cab driver tried to run away because he was worried about being arrested by the police. 

Cab Driver Arrested

Following the accident, the cab driver responsible was arrested by passersby on the scene and handed over to the police. A case of hit and run riding has been registered against him. 

The police have filed an FIR in opposition to the cab driving force under diverse sections of the Indian Penal Code and the Motor Vehicles Act, inclusive of rash use and causing death by negligent acts.


Tragedy accidents are happen on Wednesday morning as Avtar Saini, former Intel India head, lost his life in a fatal cycling coincidence in Navi Mumbai, Maharashtra. The incident occurred around 5.50 am on Palm Beach Road in the Nerul location while a speeding cab collided with Saini. That time, he was cycling with fellow riders.
