With the Enforcement Directorate (ED) pursuing him for alleged illegal mining contracts, Hemant Soren is currently in circles once more. Hemant Soren, the de facto leader of JMM and the chief minister of Jharkhand, has already avoided ten ED summonses. There’s also a lot of talk about the law. He is the target of additional cases being pursued by the Enforcement Directorate. Therefore, the Jharkhand Mukti Morcha had prepared a backup plan.

The wife of Hemant Soren, Kalpana Soren, is Plan B. She isn’t an MLA, but that will also be handled. There is no doubt in my mind that Kalpana Soren will become the next Chief Minister. Several reports state that in order to implement Plan B, JMM MLA Sarfaraz Ahmed resigned from the Assembly.
Ahmed, the Gandey constituency’s MLA, has served three terms. Shortly before the 2019 polls, he moved to the JMM after winning two elections on congressional ballots. There had been speculation following Ahmed’s resignation that Hemant Soren’s wife would succeed him as Jharkhand chief minister. Sarfaraz Ahmed, the Jharkhand Legislative Assembly Member from Gandey, has tendered his resignation, and it has been accepted. The next Chief Minister will be Kalpana Soren-ji, Hemant Soren-ji’s wife, who will step down from the position shortly as well.

Kalpana Soren: Who is she?

The journalist claimed that he lacks political knowledge and is disliked within the party. He claims that Kalpana owns a school and practices organic farming. He claims that the Congress, which has 17 seats and is the JMM’s ally, is not in a position to claim the CM’s chair because of internal problems. Another ally, the RJD, has one seat.
