News Desk – Today, INDIA bloc are protesting at Jantar Mantar in Delhi because they are concerned about the health of Arvind Kejriwal in Tihar Jail.
Kejriwal was arrested in March due to accusations of corruption involving a policy about liquor sales in Delhi. Since in jail, his party says his blood sugar levels have fallen many times and he has lost a lot of weight. They blame the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) for all of this.
The protest includes major parties like the Congress, Samajwadi Party, and Trinamool Congress, all part of a group called the INDIA bloc.
Kejriwal is facing legal battles on multiple fronts, including allegations of corruption linked to Delhi’s now-cancelled liquor policy. Both the Enforcement Directorate (ED) and the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) are investigating these claims.
