Five killed in road accident in UP

Bhadoi: Five people, carrying a body in an ambulance, were killed in an accident under Gopiganj police station on the National Highway on Tuesday morning.

Police said that the accident occurred due to dense fog when the ambulance collided with a stationary truck near Amawa underpass on the Varanasi-Prayagraj highway.

The ambulance was carrying a body from Asansol in West Bengal to Chittorgarh in Rajasthan.

The body was of Vipin Pal Singh (30), who was working in Coal India Limited(CIL), was being carried by his elder brother Navneet Singh and his friend Rajveer along with two more.

All the five occupants of the ambulance including the driver was killed on the spot.
